  2. Respected Sir, since R is a cosine function, wouldn't the detector remain idle from an angle of -p/6 to p/6 ?

    Edit: will remain idle for the duration other than when it is at -p/6 to p/6, what I mean is shouldn't we take the x axis projection ? Thank you
